Leads, calls and recordings
How ITIBG Leads captures form leads and calls, and how recordings and transcripts work.
Form leads
A lead form asks for a name, phone number, email, a message and, optionally, the job location, plus a few questions about the job. Roofing forms, for example, ask about the property. Each lead also records how the person found the site: the ad or search that brought them, the page they landed on, and the pages they viewed.
Tracked calls
Each site shows a tracking phone number. When someone calls it, the call forwards to your forwarding phone, and we log the caller and dialled numbers, the time, the duration and the outcome.
- The caller hears: “This call will be recorded and may be transcribed.” Where consent mode is on, the caller is asked to press 1 to consent before the call continues.
- You hear a short whisper and a recording disclosure before the call connects.
Call recording and transcription
Calls are recorded, and recording is always on for regulated industries. Recordings may be transcribed. ITIBG stores recordings and transcripts and makes them available to the partner who received the lead, for lead verification, quality, dispute resolution and billing.
Texts on tracking numbers
People can also text a tracking number. Those conversations, including any pictures, are stored in full and form part of the lead. Texts about an enquiry are covered by ITIBG Leads enquiry texts, a program separate from ITIBG Messaging.
Sensitive health information
On drug and alcohol treatment directories, forms ask qualifying questions that are sensitive health information: who the care is for, age range, substance, level of care, detox, co-occurring mental health needs, pregnancy, court-ordered treatment, veteran status, insurance and payment, urgency, prior treatment, and language. ITIBG is not a treatment provider and does not give medical advice.
Your obligations
- Use lead details, recordings and transcripts only to respond to that person.
- Do not sell, share or reuse leads for any other purpose.
- Follow the laws that apply to you, including call recording, telemarketing and text message laws, and health privacy laws for treatment leads.
- Keep sensitive information secure and limited to the people who need it.
